Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Filezeug converts files inside your web browser, on your own device. The file is never sent to a server, so nobody else can see it.

Is it free?

Does it work on my phone?

Why won’t my PSD convert?

Filezeug reads the flattened preview Photoshop saves inside the file. That preview only exists when “Maximize compatibility” was on when the file was saved. It also needs an 8-bit RGB or Grayscale PSD (not a PSB large document).

Do I need Photoshop?

No. That’s the point: you get a regular PNG you can open anywhere.

How big can the file be?

Filezeug has no upload limit, because nothing is uploaded. The only limit is what your browser can draw: images up to about 268 megapixels (or 32,767 pixels on a side).
