AVIF is a newer, very small image format used by some websites and phones. Plenty of apps still can’t open it.

Why does it say my browser can’t decode the image?
Filezeug uses your browser’s own AVIF support. Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all have it; older browsers may not.
How big can the file be?
Filezeug has no upload limit, because nothing is uploaded. The only limit is what your browser can draw: images up to about 268 megapixels (or 32,767 pixels on a side).
